The Greens album

The is my first layout for an album I promised to do for my cousin, and I thought I might share it with you all, The layout was inspired by a layout on keeponscrapping.blogspot.com, so thanks to Lisa I was able to finally produce something to start this album off and hopefully my cousin will get the finished product before his girls are 21.

thanks

Recycling Exstraviganza

I made this little gift box from a

tampon box ( yes you did read correctly) to tell you the honest truth I bought it purely because I loved the shape.

Hehehe I have just realised I have put underwear on the box.

This style of shabby/lacy scrapping has been a challenge for me but I am quite happy with the result. ( Bec from scrappingfruition should be so proud).

so many hours and what do I have to show

Front Page of my sons album about
Our trip to Alice Springs

Earlier on this year I went on my first scrapbooking retreat, where as alot of you already would know you scrap as long as your body will allow.

I managed to scrap from 5pm till 1pm on the first night and then from about 10am till 1.15am the next morning.

And what do I have to show for all my long arduous hours is a few layouts.

If you are like or have a partner simliar to my husband who constantly says "I can't believe you spend that many hours and only get one or two layouts done", that is OK .
It is not about how many you get done it is about the journey of decisions, reflection and having a final product you can be proud of and of course all the laughter and chatting that happens along the way.

Glad you could make it

Hi Glad you could make it over to my new blog.

This blog has been sitting in the back of my mind for sometime but have not as yet had a chance to do anything about it. But with inspiration from my lovely friend from keep on scrapping ( by the way she does not even know that she inspired me to show my work this way) I have started this blog to share a passion of mine that chugs along in the background of all the other things I do. So I hope you enjoy and would love to share ideas and thoughts along the way.

thanks
Tan
