The one that caused me grief.

Well this is it the card that nearly led me to have a heart attack.
I am not sure why I get so worked up over cards, as you can see it is not overly difficult or elaborate, It could be that there is limited space or that cards are quite personal and I want to do a really nice job.
Don't know will keep on endeavoring to beat this phobia I have with cards or just get my daughter to do them instead.

The Botanical Gardens

I have already scrapped a page similar to this one, But thought I better do one for each of my kids albums. So here is my second version using the same photos.
I actually started this one some time ago and finally managed to get it finished last weekend, this is when I love boys weekends, plenty of time for me to scrap relatively uninterrupted

I love the size of these photos it enables me to fit lots of photos on a page.

The writing was created with my lovely Cricut Imagine,  what did I do before I had one I ask?

Sorry that the page is not to clear I had to take it with my phone, as I am having trouble getting photos of my camera card. I am hoping to have this rectified soon so I can take clearer shots, But at least you get an idea of the page layout once the side section is flipped out.

Teachers Christmas Present

This was a present I made for LeSheas teacher  last year, It has taken me a while to showcase it due to  computer problems but as you can see it is all sorted.

I decorated the box to hold the little booklet.

The booklet had twelve pockets with a message in each one.

As you can see each pocket held a present style message,  counting from the first to the twelfth day of Christmas, stating what the teacher had given LeShea.

The Twelfth day stated what LeShea had given her teacher.

I really enjoyed making this and giving my Cricut Imagine a work out and  Le Shea's teacher really appreciated  a personal present.

Thanks for Visiting

Roving with Circus

This is my latest layout of my daughter, it is of when she was roving with her circus group.
Having the photo quite big and with the colours already evident in the photo I did not need to add to much to the page.
thanks for visiting.

October Challenge for Scrapjack

I have finally had some time to head over to http://aussiescrapjack.blogspot.com/ where they put up challenges each month.

Here is my entry for the October challenge,I got my inspiration from Julie's layout.

It is one of my daughter who was exhausted after a tough session at circus.

It may not be the most pretty shot but surely tells a story of how hard she worked.

thanks

Day at the Melbourne Botanical Gardens

We recently went on a day trip to the Melbourne Botanical Gardens, We had the most wondeful day, and even the weather held out for us.

I wanted to capture all the elements of the day, so I drew inspiration from one of Lisa's layouts over at keeponscrappin, it gave me a way that I could incorporate all my photos, as you can see there are plenty.I also had to add a fold out section to make them all fit.

I have put this one into my daughters album and will be doing one for my sons, It will be interesting to compare the two layouts once I completed it.

Keep posted and I will reveil when I get it done.

thanks for dropping by

The things I value most as far a an eleven year old is concerned

I really enjoyed creating this page, I loved the photo when I took it whislt LeShea was stilting at the Knox Festival. She was having a rest at this stage and I feel the look on her face tells us all of how tiring stilting can be.

I also thought the use of the card stating what I value most would be interesting from a eleven years olds point of veiw, I wonder if she will agree with what she has written when she is older. Only time will tell.
